How it’s Made…….
It all starts with a blank sheet of ultralite fibre board.
It is cut, sanded and primed. Then, I hand paint the background scene with acrylic paint. (The average palm tree alone has over 300 brush stokes!)
Next, each small piece on the painting is cut, sanded, glued and/or painted. We are now ready for assembly. Each 3-D painting has as many as 150 pieces and can take as long as 40 hours to complete. Once assembled, all pieces are secured and then coated with clear poly. The artwork is then signed and ready for your enjoyment!
